Plastic Injection Moulding Process
Injection moulding process combines all the procedures for building a integrated mould. We will have a basic look from the following:
- Part evaluation and mould making feasibility.
- Start reasonable injection moulding mould design and solutions for part structure according to the part and requirements.
- Have a review meeting to combine injection moulding mould design and real machining process.
- Machining process, including material ordering, CNC, Heat-treatment, EDM, WIRECUT, Polishing, mould fitting, engravings and texture, mould assembly.
- Mould testing and improving. This is to improve the mould and for necessary/potential mould modification due to the part changed. After all of these there will be a final mould trial run.
- Injection moulding finished and put in production.
